Our origin:
Arthur Robinson, President of the Flower City Cber's, in 1978 saw a pressing need for young women to have a positive outlet in which to display their talents and develop increased potential.  In October 1982, due to an overwhelming response form the community, the name changed to the Rochester Debutantes Club Inc. (RDCI) under the leadership of Francis Castelberry, Bertha Clancy, Linda Davis, Anita McNealy, and Betty Culver.  Since its inception RDCI has impacted the lives of hundreds of young women in the Rochester area.  RDCI was a not-for-profit, family oriented organization, whose purpose was to take an active role in the community by sponsoring the Annual Debutante Cotillion.  The Debutante Cotillion not only introduced young women to society, it also informed the community of their accomplishments and potential.  The First Debutante Cotillion was held on Sunday May 27, 1979.  Twenty-three young women made their debut.  The RDCI held its last Debutante Cotillion in the year of 1993.  Bertha Clancy, Linda Davis, Betty Culver, and Anita McNealy petitioned the support of former Debutantes to keep the organization alive.  The seed for Sisters Together Achieving Results was planted and now we stand blossoming by touching the lives of as many young women we can in the Rochester area.
