Designed for those seeking 4-year degrees as well as graduate degrees, the content continues to grow weekly. They also encourage 1+3 and 2+2 programs through our fine community colleges.   • ZPB1920.org: "Clearinghouse" style website containing many links, presented here for the scholarship and school information.
  • Wired Scholar: Information for students of color.
  • Knoxville College: Historically Black College has reduced its tuition (room, board, and books) from $5,000 to $1,400.  Requirements are a high school diploma with a GPA of 2.0/4.0 scale, and $600 deposit (balance paid on monthly installments) for more details call 1-800-743-5669.
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the U.S. Department of Education's official electronic application for federal student aid.
  • Finaid: the smart student guide to financial aid.
  • Rochester Area Community Foundation: over 90 scholarships funds in a searchable database. Most have specific criteria so read carefully. The contact is usually the college financial aid counselor.
  • United Negro College Fund: over 7,000 scholarships.
  • Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCU) scholarships: several $1,000.00 academic scholarships to deserving students for the 2004-2005 academic year. Applications must be submitted by July 1.
  • FastWeb: Find money for college! Search 600,000 scholarships worth over $1 billion.
  • National Association for College Admission Counseling: to assist students in making choices for postsecondary education.
  • Princeton University free summer journalism program for financially-challenged students. Application must be postmarked by February 15. There are only four qualifications!
  • Syracuse University's School of Architecture is looking for talented students from under represented populations that are interested in Architecture as a career choice. For deadlines and admission criteria, visit our website and, under programs, click on undergraduate and then admissions.
