ABOUT OUR ALUMNAE

Briiana White (2004) and Angelica Stringer (2004) created the Alumni Association to help STAR, Inc. maintain contact with prior participants. Angelica Davis (2004) came on in 2010 as Secretary. Obtaining a high school diploma is a major accomplishment for anyone. After high school, a young woman has many choices to make about her future; whether to pursue post-secondary education, begin a career, become an entrepreneur, enter holy matrimony, and/or relocate to name a few.

STAR, Inc.'s goal is to help more alumnae become positive, productive, and successful members of society who, through wise decision making, attain their personal and professional goals. Another goal is for alumnae to become mentors to current STAR, Inc. participants. Consequently, the STAR, Inc. Executive Committee and Alumni Association achieves more for the Rochester community together.
